Located in the heart of the city, Satri house was built at the turn of the last century. It was the residence of the Prince Souphanouvong until the age of eleven. The building was refurbished in 2002 by Mrs. Lamphoune Voravongsa, who is also the owner of the "Satri Lao" shops in Vientiane and Luang-Prabang.
